Rana Rana Commack Ka Cirebhi iniciará seu pagamento contra o Diri Riders em 4 de agosto.

In 2023, Nitish Rana left Delhi for Uttar Pradesh. The reason behind the former Delhi captain’s exit was disgruntlement. Nitish wasn’t please by Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) decision to remove him as white-ball captain in and replaced by Yash Dhull, someone who had made his debut just a year ago.

However, two years later, Nitish has returned. The move was announced on the day of The Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 auction. All of sudden, the former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain had a change of mind.

So, happened exactly? Nitish says the decision to leave was made for the betterment of his career. He had been dropped from Delhi’s Ranji Trophy had and UP gave him the chance required. So, he took it.

“I hadn’t planned before I left. That time (2023) I felt the decision I’m taking will be good for my career, mental peace and family. It’s only after things happen that you realise what’s right and wrong. I had no problem playing for Uttar Pradesh,” Nitish said in the pre-tournament press conference at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Nitish thanked DDCA President Rohan Jaitley for his return to Delhi. He didn’t think it was going to be easy for him to come back to home and didn’t want to cause any issues. He’s elated that he’s now.

“I want to especially thank Rohan (Jaitley) sir for giving me a chance. I didn’t think it’ll be easy for me to return to Delhi because there is no lack of talent. And I didn’t want to cause a problem, ruin a team or take some other place’s spot. We talked and were on the same page and now I’ve returned,” Nitish added.
