Nitish Reddy suffers knee injury

Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out of the India vs England Test series. The all-rounder injured his knee during a gym session on July 20, and scans revealed he has sustained some ligament damage. It’s yet to be seen whether BCCI announces a replacement for him, given Shardul Thakur’s already in the squad.

Anshul Kamboj joins Team India

Arshdeep Singh has been ruled out of the Manchester Test. The left-arm pacer has sustained a deep cut on his hand and has gotten stitches. The BCCI hasn’t put out an official statement about his replacement, but Anshul Kamboj has already joined Team India and was even pictured during a photoshoot with Manchester United.

Karun Nair, Akash Deep to be dropped

There is a strong possibility that Rishabh Pant won’t be India’s wicketkeeper at Old Trafford and Dhruv Jurel will be the gloveman. Karun Nair will be dropped, and Jurel will be batting at number three. As for Akash Deep, he isn’t in prime shape physically, and Kuldeep Yadav is expected to be his replacement.
