Green Cameron é o caso do mais caro comprar no IPHL 2026 Mini e desempenho em cada T2i que passa
Australia cricket team star Cameron Green has been in red-hot form ever since he has made his comeback to competitive cricket after recovering from his back injury. The all-rounder, who missed IPL 2025 after going under the knife earlier in 2024, might end up becoming the most expensive player in the IPL 2026 mini-auction. Green, playing as a pure batter currently, can potentially trigger a bidding war among IPL teams should he choose to enter the auction later this year. The reason? His consistency with the bat in the middle-order.
Why Green could be big hit at IPL 2026 mini-auction?
Green returned to T20Is in the series against West Indies after a gap of 9 months and wasted no time to make an instant impact. In the five-match series, the batter registered scores of 51, 56*, 11, 55* and 32. On Sunday, in the AUS vs SA 1st T20I in Darwin, Green once again showed a glimpse of his destructive ability with a 13-ball 35-run knock that was studded with 3 sixes and 4 fours, striking at 269.23. Unfortunately, his innings was brought to a grinding halt by Lungi Ngidi in the final ball of the powerplay.
Since making his T20I debut in 2022, Green has improved leaps and bounds over the years. He has 468 runs from 18 matches, with 6 half-centuries. In T20s, he has amassed 1281 runs from 60 matches and averages 34.62.
The Australian all-rounder made his IPL debut with Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2023 following which he was traded to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in 2024. In his very first IPL season, Green amassed 452 runs and bagged 6 wickets from 16 games. In the next edition, he scored 255 runs and bagged 10 wickets for RCB from 13 matches.
Should the Australian batter decide to enter the IPL 2026 mini-auction, teams like RCB, DC and SRH among others are likel to battle it out in a fierce bidding war to secure the services of the reliable batter.
