Indo vs Aus A: a Copa do Mundo TR0 Mandi TR0 não aconteceria em 2026 na Inglaterra e no País de Gales.
The Women’s T20 World Cup is only a few months away, and the talent pool in India seems to be struggling big time. In the IND A vs AUS A series in Australia, the hosts led by Alyssa Healy won by a massive 114 runs, after setting a target of 188 to the Indians. On the other hand, the Indian team led by Radha Yadav were bundled out for a paltry 73, raising a few eyebrows.
Radha Yadav’s IND A Hammered for 73
After batting first, AUS looked in total command throughout the first innings with the skipper Healy putting on massive 70 runs in only 44 deliveries. She got good support from Tahila Wilson who smashed 43 from 35, and the duo together added 95 in under 11 overs. Post that too, Anika Learoyd and Courtney Webb added quick runs, to set an out-of-bounds target.
On bowling front, India cap Titas Sadhu leaked 18 runs in 2 overs, while Tanuja Kanwar and Minnu Mani went over 10 runs in an over. But the lowest point of the day was when the visitors came on to bat. Only two batters, Vrinda Dinesh and Minnu could manage to score in double digits.
Only Two Players Manage Double-digit Scores
As for Australia’s bowling, seasoned all-rounder Kim Garth was at her very best as she went on to return with figures of 4/7 in her three overs. Tess Flintoff and Amy Louise Edgar also bagged two wickets each. This now means, India has tasted defeat in the two matches of the series, with them losing the first one by 13 runs.
But there are quite a few matches left still. There is another T20 to be played on August 10, followed by and ODI series, and then one unofficial Test as well.
