Nair has been a force to reckon with in the Maharaja Trophy, with his consistent performances over the last two seasons. In 2023, he topped the chart of leading run-getters with 532 runs from 12 matches, including one century and three fifties.

A boundary scoring machine, Nair smashed 73 boundaries (52 fours and 21 sixes) in Maharaja Trophy 2023. In 2024, he went a step ahead to create a record by hitting 88 boundaries (58 fours and 30 sixes). Not only did he register the highest individual score in the tournament’s history in the 2024 edition with an unbeaten 124-run knock, he also led the Mysore Warriors to the title.
